1.Global warming is caused by too much carbon dioxide in the air.
2.Without bees the world would become extinct.
3.80% of the worlds forests have already been destroyed.
4.Almost 800 of the worlds species have become extinct.
5.The ice caps melting is caused by global warming. This is putting the polar bears existance.
6.Global warming causes the earth to heat up.
7.10 million trees are destroyed a day.
8.every time one fish is born we fish 5 fish.

      GLOBAL WARMING REPORT TASK 2
Global warming is something that needs to be changed.
Global warming is created by too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere caused by us humans.Global warming melts polar ice caps which is causing floods, due to rising sea levels. Who would of thought that just a temperature average rise of 2 degrees could change the earth itself.

    Climate Change Facts!

. Climate change is already a daily reality of the world’s poorest communities.

. Climate change is related to shifts in rainfall and drought pattern.

. Developed countries are the lead contributors to greenhouse gas emmissions and therefore to climate change.

. Climate change is the number one threat to civilisation in the 21st century.

. This concern reflects the reality that so much of human activity is sensitive to climate change.

. The climate system is essentialy irreversible for many centuries at least.

. Climate change can also be caused by natural prossesses and human activities, such as Solar activity and burning fossil fuels, which can cause global warming!

    Deforestation.

The clearing of forests by logging or burning is called ‚Äúdeforestation.”
Forests are disappearing at a rate of about 36 football fields per minute. That equates to an annual loss of 12-15 million hectares of forest, which is an area roughly the size of Costa Rica.

The main causes of deforestation are Agriculture, cattle ranching, logging and fires.

The consequenses of deforesation are climate change, habitat loss, water cycle changes, soil erosion, danger to are health care and social upheaval.

Deforestation is clearing earths forest on a massive scale, ofen resulting in damage to the quality of the land.Forests still cover 30% of the worlds land area, but swaths the size of panima are lost each every year.

    Task 1
    1) Global warming caused by car fumes rising up into the air, this can reduced by walking to school and the shops.
    2) Flooding is when the rivers overflow and affects crops and people’s homes, this is caused by global warming.
    3) Deforestation is tree are cut down it makes animals homeless.
    4) Trees absorb carbon dioxide , this reduces the poison in the air.
    5) Acid rain is caused fumes from factories polluting the air.
    6) Ozone layer, this protects us from the Sun and stops us from getting badly burnt.
    7) Recycling reduces the amount of waste and is used to make new things.
    8) Air pollution, you need clean air to breath properly. Fine from factories and cars cause air pollution.
    9) Holes in the Ozone layer let IF rays through, this can kill animals an plants.

    Running out of natural recorces
Fact 1:We are running out of water wich nothing can live without.
Fact 2:Humans are over fishing.Every time five fish are fished one is born.
Fact 3:We are chopping down to many trees in parts of the world and losing air.
Fact 4:Running out of oil is another thing that we might lose in the next 46.2 years.
Fact 5:phosphorus is an element plants can’t grow without.
Fact 6:We only have 188 years of global coal production left.
Fact 7:There are 17 earth elements we might lose like scandium and terbium.
Fact 8:We might run out of natural gases in the next 58.6 years.
Fact 9:Do you like chocolate because it’s running out.A lot of coco beans have been wated.

    Task one
    Global warming
Fact 1: global warming is caused by too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Fact 2: the blanket of carbon dioxide traps heat which warms the planet up.
Fact 3: you can reduce the carbon dioxide by not driving as much.
Fact 4: also you reduce the carbon dioxide by not leaving eletric appliances.
Fact 5: from 2000-2009 it was the hottest years.
Fact 6: about 1000 co2 is flying around in the atmosphere.
Fact 7: melting of ice caps is caused by global warming.
Fact 8: when the ice caps melt from global warming it causes floods.
Fact 9: global warming makes the earth hotter than it was before it happened.

    Global warming
Fact 1 the hottest from 2000-2009 was the hottest,
Fact 2 about 1000 tons of co2 is dumped in the air,
Fact 3 90% that humans caused about half of the global warming,
Fact 4the co2 level is 40% in china and less in e us
Fact 5 global warming makes ice caps melt
Fact 6 in about 2100 sea leval will rise a lot
Fact 7 global warming makes the earth hotter
Fact 8 the earth sea levels are rising by an inch
Fact 9 when global warming melts all the ice caps polor bears could be gone
